Turtle Toddlers - 2-3 years
When our Baby Bees turn two, or shortly before if they are ready, they progress to our Turtle Toddlers! This is a gradual process to suit your child’s personal development, and involves move up sessions in the main room.
We provide a wide range of activities and encourage learning through children’s interests and play. Activities include outdoor and water play, trips out, messy play, arts and crafts, stories, mark making, puzzles, play dough, number games, dressing up and role play, cookery and singing.
Our terrific Turtle keyworkers are Mandy (lead) and Cerys.

We work with the children to promote independence so that they are prepared for school.
This includes developing a range of skills, such as:
~ dressing and undressing
~ understanding their personal hygiene
~ using the toilet
~ using cutlery under supervision
~ keeping their space clean and safe
~ fine motor skills and early writing
We encourage parents to dress their children appropriately for messy and outdoor activities and to supply changes of clothes. We spend as much time outdoors as we can, and the children never miss an excuse to jump in a puddle or make mud pies! The children are encouraged to develop their motor skills through a range of art and craft, and we love to see them really get stuck in!
