Staff are expected to have a good understanding of and relationship with their key children. All our core staff are qualified to level 3 in child care or working towards it. We encourage all our team to update and develop their qualifications.
We provide flexible provision which accommodates the unpredictability of working life. We offer year round or term time only contracts and also ad hoc bookings. We are open from 7:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year. We close for a week over Christmas and on Bank Holidays.
We know good quality childcare can be expensive. We endeavour to keep our costs low and work with parents to ensure that their commitment is sustainable.
As of September 2017, some families may be eligible for 30 hours free funding.
The government have provided us with a website which will help parents when applying.
If your child is eligible for 30 hours free funding, we will be happy to discuss providing this for you.
Although it is commonly called 30 hours funding, that funding is for 38 weeks of the year (term time only), if you go for the stretched offer it will be about 22 hours per week.
Please be aware, your childcare tax credits may be affected if you qualify for the 30 hours funding
